Åtskilliga gånger har jag hört ett visst förakt eller ifrågasättande över Hofors kommuns slogan - Hofors Kommun vänligast i Sverige - men nu tror jag Vellinge kommun tar "priset"! Vilken frihet erbjuds ...till både de nuvarande kommuninvånarna i Vellinge och till de tillfälligt boende flyktingbarnen från Malmö. Bakom den välkomnande vägskylten..."Här är friheten..." döljer sig en människosyn som annars endast brukar märkas hos mer extrema främlingsfientliga  partier. Det kanske inte är så förvånande att Vellinge är den enda skånska kommun där Sverigedemokraterna inte är representerat. SD-politik tycks här skötas av moderater!

När ett trettiotal flyktingbarn, som tillfälligt behöver någonstans att bo i avvaktan på anvisning till en kommun där de kan få ett mer permanent boende,visar de styrande i Vellinge brist på empati.  Nej, tänk om och ta frihetstanken på allvar och se dessa nyinflyttade människor som värdefulla resurser.

Välkommen till Hofors - Vänligast i Sverige - säger jag till kommande flyktingbarn...!

Beslut om att ta emot 30 ensamkommande barn och ungdomar togs i Kommunstyrelsen den 26 oktober 2009.
