Snart är det jul igen!...Fler än vart fjärde barn har känt obehag under julen på grund av att vuxna har druckit alkohol.

Siffrorna kommer från en undersökning bland barn och ungdomar upp till 18 år som IOGT-NTO-rörelsens projekt Vit Jul låtit göra på Lunarstorm under förra veckan. Linda Engström som är vice ordförande i UNF, Ungdomens Nykterhetsförbund, och aktiv i Vit jul-projektet är oroad över siffrorna.

– Vuxna verkar inte bry sig om oss unga, säger hon. Trots att julen ska vara vår högtid så prioriterar man att supa framför att barnen ska få känna sig trygga och glada.

Det är känt sedan tidigare att många barn känner sig illa till mods när föräldrarna dricker. Det gäller framför allt de 385 000 barn i Sverige som lever med föräldrar som dricker så mycket att de riskerar sin egen hälsa. Undersökningen på Lunarstorm visar att även barn till så kallade normalkonsumenter mår dåligt när de vuxna dricker.
