Arbetsmarknadsläget i Gävleborg följer trenden i övriga Sverige. I Gävleborg har vi positiva siffror jämfört med tidigare år...Antalet arbetssökande som erhållit arbete under förra veckan var 28% fler än motsvarande vecka förra året, och uppgick till 194 personer.

Arbetslösheten uppgår till 9,9% av befolkningen 16-64 år i Gävleborg, riksgenomsnittet ligger på 6,8%. Totalt 17080 arbetslösa i länet, vilket är 619 färre än vid samma tid förra året. Arbetslöshetsprognos av befolkningen 16-64 år ...

Ungdomsarbetslösheten uppgår till 17,5% av befolkningen 18-24 år, riksgenomsnittet ligger på 10,6%. Totalt 4480 unga arbetslösa i Gävleborg, vilket är 7,8% färre än vid samma tid förra året.

Gävleborg noterade under december 2010 det historiskt sett högsta antalet nyregistrerade Aktiebolag. Länet har aldrig tidigare haft så många Aktiebolag och företag som nu.
